Workshops

In her signature workshop “Capturing the Light,” Lynn will show students how to use light and shadow to design stronger compositions and bring drama to a variety of subject matter. Students will gain new skills and confidence working with shadows, light sources, creating glow, and more. Lynn provides handouts, reference materials, and lots of personal attention.

Staining! Stenciling! Stamping! Papers were flying; paint and creative juices were flowing as the 9 very lucky participants of the Jennifer Stone workshop created papers to be used in the creation of beautiful abstract collages. Two of whom made the trek from Texas!

Jennifer was a warm and generous instructor, willing to share her knowledge (and stamps and stencils) with us. She emphasized the design principles of dominance, repetition, and variety in shapes, color, and scale. We all had the opportunity to create multiple design studies that can be translated into larger finished works.
We found the workshop to be so inspiring that we were all saying "Let's bring Jennifer back!"
